Golden Delicious apples have been around since 1905. Their silky texture won’t break down when baked. Their honeyed flavor makes them excellent for apple sauce and apple butter.

Storability:

Medium to low shelf life, longer with refrigeration, but prone to bruising and shriveling so needs careful handling and storage
